Remembering Gilbert Clarke

Last week the Windrush community lost a pioneer. Gilbert Clarke, a proud World War 2 veteran whose courage, sacrifice and service helped shape the freedoms we hold today.

He now takes his place among the ancestors- a life lived with dignity, strength, and purpose. We give thanks for his legacy, his contribution to history and the path he has helped pave for future generations.

Rest in eternal peace, Mr Clarke.
